Alexis Day

Alexis has been working as a makeup and hair artist for over 5 years in London and the European fashion capitals Milan and Paris, as well as a recent stint in Russia for the 2014 Winter Olympics.

Counting International Beauty supremos including Pat McGrath, Tom Pecheux, Terry Barber, Emma White Turle and Louise Constad as mentors, Alexis is well-known in the Editorial, Advertising and Music industries for creating exciting and brief appropriate looks to time, Alexis is quickly establishing herself within the film networks thanks to a number of high profile red carpet engagements with flawless makeup and hair creations.

Possessing a solid eye for detail and the ability to put her clients at ease, whilst enhancing their beauty, Alexis has developed a number of long term, loyal relationships with her clients and a reputation for being a professional, hard-working and trusted member of any team.

Alexis has collaborated on editorial and celebrity shoots for a number of cult, and major global publications such as Harpers Bazaar Hong Kong, Tatler, Volt, GQ, Dazed, UK Cosmopolitan, and Hunger TV. Working alongside new and established photographers such as Lorenzo Agius, Diana Gomez, Jude Edgington, Marc Bousseart, Elliott Morgan, John Philip Heyes, Simon Wisbey and Paul Whitfield – to name a few, to perfect her skills and create wonderful images.

Besides print work, Alexis has headed up the makeup and hair department on a number of television adverts for global brands such as the 2015 Rugby World Cup, McDonalds, MTV, Grolsch, Honda, B&Q, and TRESemme, and taken her expertise to design makeup for television documentaries such as “One Second in Formula 1” to entertainment series like “The Business Class.” Alexis regularly works on the Mobos, Mercury Music Awards and the Brits with her personal music clients both for their red-carpet appearances, hosting, as well as onstage performances.

Working with celebrities and global sports stars for the international TV and Film networks such as NBC, CNBC, MTV, and Lionsgate means Alexis is often selected to look after high profile established, and rising stars such as Maria Sharapova, Serena Williams, Johnny Weir, Lianne La Havas, Wiley, Mo Farah, Chloe Moretz, Liam Hemsworth, Shaun White, Michel Roux Sr, Ed Sheeran, Florence Pugh and Lady Mary Charteris.

Alexis became Beauty Editor for .Cent Magazine in 2013, creating new beauty content across the digital platform and has devised a number of eye-catching still-life stories as well as visually arresting beauty shoots for the  publication.
